Seth Rollins and Battleground's Uncertainty

Seth Rollins will be facing the biggest test of his WWE career coming up on July 19 at Battleground. That is the night when The Beast comes calling and Rollins will need all of his resolve against Brock Lesnar.

He will also need a change of underwear. This is going to be a good one.

Fans have been looking forward to this one since WrestleMania and now that it's here, it's obvious WWE is about to get very interesting. The main reason for that of course is because Rollins is a marked man.

Cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase has been done before, it's a sight we've become accustomed to seeing. The moment a guy pulls it down, the waiting game begins and fans know it's just a matter of time until it's handed to a referee.

But it's never been cashed in on Lesnar. It's like tugging on Superman's cape and instead it's Doomsday that turns around to see who's there.

So watching the Architect get his at the hands of Lesnar will be more than fun for fans who have sat back and hated him for months. Rollins is very good at what he does and now all of that work will see a payoff when the cowardly champion is faced with the animalistic challenger.

But the real interest comes in the end. Who's going over here?

it's hard to believe Rollins will not win, in part because of the deal Lesnar has in place and because Rollins is really hitting his stride right now. Is WWE prepared to end the year once again with an absentee champion? Giving the belt to Lesnar ends Rollins' momentum and he may find it's exremely hard to ever get it back.

So if Rollins does indeed win then he will do so by hook or by crook. A straigt up pinfall would be fine if it were anyone but Lesnar and honestly, Rollins deserves a quality win considering how much good he's done during his title reign.

But he's a heel and heels cheat to win so that is likely what we'll see at Battleground. So when that happens, what's next for Lesnar? Could he actually move on that quickly from Rollins? How could he possibly get his revenge on Rollins if he doesn't take the belt back from him?

By the same token if Rollins leaves with the belt, who is his next opponent? With rumors swirling that Triple H could be the man to face Rollins this summer or early fall, is that an indication the belt is changing hands at Battleground after all?

The fact is that no matter what happens, Rollins has earned the high profile spot against Lesnar. He will surely turn in a great performance as he always does and Lesnar will annihilate as he always does. The match itself will be entertaining and while it's surrounded by many questions, there is no question that this one will be fun to watch.
