Bray Wyatt Crosses the Line With Roman Reigns

Bray Wyatt has found a new target and that target's name is Roman Reigns. Wyatt prevented Roman from winning Money in the Bank and made it personal the night after on Raw when he brought Reigns' daughter into the equation.

It's a unique twist and one that has the potential to become WWE's most explosive storyline. Hopefully they won't screw it up.

This has become the formula for Wyatt from day one. He picks a guy to torment then cuts promo after promo, speaking in riddles from the shadows while attempting to keep everyone guessing. Then he pops up in the ring to hit the occasional Sister Abigail and before you know it, the pay-per-view match happens.

The feud ends and then he moves on to the next guy. There's nothing wrong with any of this however, as Wyatt always does good work and the fans are usually into it.

Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho, John Cena, all four men have feuded with Wyatt and each feud has basically gone the same way practically every time. Win or lose, Bray does his voodoo and then finds the next victim.

But this time it's a little different. This time Bray is going after his victim's family. By bringing Roman's daughter into it, he is opening up a whole new aspect for fans. Reigns always been portrayed as the tough guy, the one that could not be shaken.

He took the worst that Brock Lesnar had to offer at WrestleMania 31 and he kept getting back up for more. He laughed at The Beast Incarnate and was beaten down to nothing but he never gave up. He kept trying to fight back and refused to be held down.

But now he is vulnerable. Now, his weakness has been exposed for the whole world to see. This is not a problem that simple physical violence will easily rectify. Roman has more to worry about this time, as his daughter's safety is his primary concern.

Wyatt's mind games have never been this personal, never been this focused and now instead of his usual creepy self, Bray has crossed the line. He is frightening on a level that fans have never seen before and now he's no longer just fun and entertaining.

Bray Wyatt is dangerous now, a man that will truly stop at nothing to terrorize his victim. He has the ability to become much more than what he is, to do more than what he has, but WWE must stay the course.

Roman has the potential to be more intense than ever before, to get the crowd on his side and keep them there. Fans could finally see him as being human, a guy that is trying to protect his family and stop the threat of the maniacal Wyatt.

The number one complaint many have against Roman is that he's been shoved down their throats. This rivalry could humanize him to the point he could finally turn the critics to his favor and get over the way WWE wants him to be.

But the company must stick with it. One and done will not help Roman or Bray, this one must go the duration; three matches minimum are needed for fans to fully invest and care about what they're seeing.

Anything less will not be enough.
